Again

A slight feeling of deja vu, with more experience to draw upon.

The one way ticket with a lot of luggage

Moving into a small temporary apartment until I find a bigger, more permanent place.

Unlike last time - my first week in Hong Kong was actually spent in China - Shenzhen to be specific - for a week of leadership meetings.  I was not complaining - my hotel room there was larger than my temp apartment in HK.

The week was not all about work - there was lot of reconnecting with friends outside of the office.

We are beginning the celebration of the Year of the Rooster

The one memorable excursion was a trip to a local Spa.  Shoulder Massage, Foot Massage and Pedicure were the more popular services.  But the pedicure was not exactly what we expected.  All our feet felt smooth, but no change in nail color.  Take a look at what I left behind.

And the Rooster inviting us into the Spa

Friday afternoon I returned to Hong Kong and worked on getting settled. Went looking for Roosters and did not find near as many as expected.

The most impressive one was at Dolce & Gabbana

Strolled by the waterfront

And did some grocery shopping.  One interesting customer was handing out gold chocolate coins.

I am looking forward to the upcoming week and seeing my team again.

I am sure many of you are asking - where is Patrick.  Well he is still in the US, but working diligently on getting to Hong Kong, hopefully we will have some good news on that coming soon.
